270711 Universal Studio Singapore (Super Long Post)

While listening to FLY FM today, about how Singaporean getting sour because their chilli crabs is only ranked 37 on tastiest food in the world list, I baru teringat lupa nak post about my trip to Singapore. I was too tired last night, balik kerja terus pergi setiawangsa lepak-lepak makan Soto Berlada ( shall blog about it later :) effing delicious) then sambung lepak makan brownies, sampai rumah pukul 10.30, terus mandi, tidur. What a day!

So, basically our sole purpose to visit Singapore is just to go to USS. The initial plan was me and ihan will take the midnight train from KL Sentral to Singapore and then go to USS and take the train back on the very same day to go back to KL. That was the plan. But then his brother and sister wanna tag along so, we hop on the bus from Bukit Jalil at 2 PM and arrived at 6 PM in Singapore. Yup laju gila driver bas tu bawak. T_T takut, dah la double decker.

So sampai-sampai je dekat Singapore, semua orang lapar, so sebab semua kedai tak buka, we went to 7E and buy maggi makan tepi jalan, Sedap weyh makan maggi panas time sejuk-sejuk. Omnomnom. And then ambil MRT pergi USS. We arrived there around 7 ish and of course la USS tak buka lagi. So we went to the toilet ( of course la tak mandi) basuh muka, salin baju, freshen up sikit, while waiting for USS to open.

Dah selesai basuh2 muka, kitorang pon berlegar2 dekat situ, tengok apa yang ada, and then suddenly we saw someone holding a cup that seems like a free drink to us. You know the polystyrene cup tu. So we scout around, and there it is, free drinks everyone!Free milo and tea. Apa lagi, berlari la masing2 nak beratur kan!

Dah lepas minum USS still tak buka lagi. So pergi jalan-jalan ambil gambar. Lompat sana lompat sini kan. And then pukul 9 semua dah start beratur and of course la kitorang dekat depan sekali :) apa guna datang awal kalau tak duduk depan sekali kan?

Dah dapat tiket, masuk dalam USS masing-masing dah batak. So ambil pamphlet and discuss nak pergi mana dulu. So we decided to go to the left. Start with Madagscar, naik merry go around (dont know the name).

Lepastu jalan-jalan lagi pergi Far Far Away Land jumpa shrek, ambil gambar dengan Shrek and Princes Fiona. Macam kanak-kanak. And masuk Shrek 4-D. Seriously it is hair-raising, eye-popping and the butt-busting effects so real, all your senses will be on ogre-time. Sumpah rasa air kena renjis dekat muka, labah-labah naik atas kaki. Thumbs up!

Tiba-tiba hujan, walaupun hujan, redah jugak pergi WaterWorld: A Live Sea War Spectacular. Its a live show tau. Dia buat stunt macam2 terjun alam air naik jet ski and byk meletup. Masa ni kesian Nora Danish kena buli, kena simbah air.

The action was ohsem and superb weyh!! Seriously real siap ada api-api bagai ( please expect to get wet at this park ). Walaupun hujan semakin lebat, tak mematahkan semangat nak teruskan berjalan lalu kami pergi ke Jurassic Park River Adventure. Jangan lupa beli raincoat dekat sini ya, sebab memang akan basah. No exceptional :)

The good thing about USS is dekat setiap pintu masuk game, dia akan bagitau berapa lama u kena tunggu, so u can decide la kan nak masuk ke tak kalau u tak sanggup tunggu panjang-panjang. So lepas berbasah-basah we went to lunch. For every ticket to USS dia akan bagi $5 discount voucher for food and souvenir. $5 each. But, the food is hell expensive. Nasi Ayam for $10. Convert to RM around RM23 (that time) and it was TASTELESS! like what the heck! Ok lepas makan sambung jalan-jalan pergi pulak Egypt Street. It housed large Egyptian Anubis statue and decoration pieces. And dekat sini ada Revenge of the Mummy yang ohsem! The best roller coaster ever! The best! Many unexpected twists at every turn as you escape Mummy’s revenge in life-like horror.

Tapi we were unlucky Battlestar Galactica is closed for renovation. Too bad, dah petang and dah penat. Dah la satu hari tak mandi. Tehehehehehe. Gigih jugak berjalan, kitorang masuk Special Effects Stages. Dekat sini dia tunjuk macamana nak buat special effect dalam studio. I'm amazed ok. Sangat! Scene banjir la semua dalam studio. Ohsem lagi! Lepas tu dah tak larat nak jalan, jam pon dah pukul 6, we went to Siloso beach, ada party buih like seriously, open party. Tak bawak swimming suit, so tak boleh join :) punyalah penat sampai tidur tongkat dagu WTF!

Pukul 7 lebih gerak pergi beach road, naik bas pukul 9, balik KL. Satu hari tak mandi yewm! Total expenses for 4 person termasuk tiket bas adalah, RM1000.

Next time pergi Singapore, nak duduk dekat Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Love, love, love!
